PILATES M A T
This style of Pilates Mat class is suitable for all levels and ages. Props such as thera-bands, balls and magic circles are utilized to achieve a sense of spring-like push-pull and resistance within the body. This 65 minute class is comprised of the essence of Joseph Pilates' original 34 mat exercises, breathing and stretching activities, visual and meditation cues and actions intended to lengthen your muscles, relieve your joints, open your organs, give clarity to your spine and to strengthen your bones spirit and integrity.
Plyometrics class is a more vigorous cardio and athletic aerobics class devised to un-stymie your physical patterns and burn off the unused energy residing inside. This 65 minute guided class is comprised of gym-class style moves; jumping, hopping, bouncing, vibrating interwoven with strong yet slower, softer and subtler moves to develop strength, agility and confidence in your arms, abs legs and arse. Very specific attention is paid to your attention and alignment as your gaze, your breath, your arrangement, and your heart are breathed into, released, restored and rejuvenated. While this class is suitable for all levels, those of you sustaining current injuries or newly pregnant, I do ask that you please get in touch first so we may discuss your scenario and you can then manifest your most desirable outcome with the utmost of care.
I will come to your home, hotel or workplace with an array of props, mat and accessories. We can work one-on-one or gather a small group of your friends to compose a small private group class of your choosing. Class will be custom tailored for your specific needs, goals and level based on the principles of the Pilates method, Yogic traditions, breath exercises, fascial release work and a sheer boosting of movement to give you an opportunity to fathom the depth of your inner mechanics.
